After graduating with a Degree in Food Science and Nutrition in 2006, Fifi immersed herself actively in organic food and cookware industry for 7 years before joining Thermomix Malaysia. 

As a graduate majoring in Food Science & Nutrition, she has a lifelong passion for food and cooking. Her passion for cooking was cultivated at a young age when she followed her mother to learn cooking at various culinary institutes, and also during the times she assisted her mother, an avid cook, in the kitchen. 

Integral to the set-up of Recipe Development team for the region, she has authored and led several projects including the award-winning cookbooks (Gourmand World cookbook award 2019 and 2020)– The Malay Kitchen, Tasty Asia and Three-in-One Cooking. The following year "The Malay Kitchen" and "Tasty Asia" was in the Gourmand's 'best of the best in 25 years' world cookbook list.

Fifi and the Thermomix® Recipe Development team have successfully converted many traditional recipes including those passed down from their families. 

She is currently working on Thermomix cookbooks and digital recipes at Cookidoo® platform. She is leading new recipe development team for Indonesia market. 

Besides Thermomix, Fifi build brand exposure with collaborations of different brands such as Jungle House honey, JOBBIE Nut Butter etc. 

During Fifi’s free time, the foodie loves to travel, shop for local ingredients, as well as, trying out food from different cultures. An avid photographer, her Instagram page, (@fifileongmy), is full of colourful food photos from her travels and dining experiences!
